Obituary


Natalie Sloan Charles, 34, of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2017. Natalie was born on December 5, 1982, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Mike and Susan Charles.



She graduated from Little Rock Christian Academy in 2001. She attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and then in Little Rock, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.



Natalie attended the First Assembly Church of North Little Rock. She dedicated her life to God and was baptized there on April 9, 2017.

Natalie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Russell and Gereda Charles of North Little Rock and Fred and Kathryn Kellow of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She is survived by her mother, Susan Charles of Little Rock, and her father and step-mother, Mike and Carla Charles of Benton, a daughter, Evie Charles of Benton, a sister, Lesley Anne Charles of Little Rock, step-brothers, Chris and Jason Hawkins, and many other aunts, cousins and friends whom she dearly loved.



Visitation will be on Monday, May 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock. A celebration of her life will be on Tuesday, May 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock.



The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses, therapists and others that cared for Natalie so lovingly at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, and to all of their wonderful friends and family for their constant love and support.
