Henry L. Cooper, 78, of North Little Rock passed away on Saturday, September 9th. Born in Wynne, Arkansas to parents William Floyd Cooper and Jewell Mobley Cooper, Henry was a 1957 graduate of Batesville High School and attended Hendrix College for two years before transferring and graduating with a B.A. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1962. He spent 30 years with Johnson and Johnson before retiring in 1994.

Henry L. Cooper, 78, of North Little Rock passed away on Saturday, September 9th. Born in Wynne, Arkansas to parents William Floyd Cooper and Jewell Mobley Cooper, Henry was a 1957 graduate of Batesville High School and attended Hendrix College for two years before transferring and graduating with a B.A. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1962. He spent 30 years with Johnson and Johnson before retiring in 1994.



Henry loved life; he was known for his quick smile and sarcastic sense of humor. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and Razorback football fan, a reader who followed current events closely and a handyman who could fix anything. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially at Christmas or over a good meal.



He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna; daughter Catherine (Jeffrey); son Matthew (Carol) and his grandchildren, Sara Kate, Jackson, Eleanor and George.



A funeral service honoring his life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 15th at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR. Online register at www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
