Cody Ballard Simmons, 19, of Sherwood passed away on May 14, 2017. He was born on June 25, 1997 in North Little Rock. Cody was a member of the Baptist Church and was employed by U. S. Environmental Services.



Cody was an avid duck hunter, turkey hunter and loved jacked up trucks. He eagerly awaited each fall and winter for hunting season to begin. Cody was a good hearted man, he loved his family with all of his heart and everyone who met him loved him. He will be remembered and missed by his...

Cody Ballard Simmons, 19, of Sherwood passed away on May 14, 2017. He was born on June 25, 1997 in North Little Rock. Cody was a member of the Baptist Church and was employed by U. S. Environmental Services.



Cody was an avid duck hunter, turkey hunter and loved jacked up trucks. He eagerly awaited each fall and winter for hunting season to begin. Cody was a good hearted man, he loved his family with all of his heart and everyone who met him loved him. He will be remembered and missed by his family and countless friends.



He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Obie (Pappaw) Delong and Carl (Pepaw) Carlton. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Pamela Haynes; father, Roger Simmons, and step-mother, Kara Simmons; brother Kadeyn Simmons; sisters Blakely Haynes and Laityn Simmons; grandparents Dana (Chyrl) Humphrey, John (Pat) Simmons, Ray (Melissa) Murphy and David (Becky) Squires, great-grandparents Sue Carlton and Ann Delong; and his aunts Heather (Michael) Martin, Donya (Tommy) Sebourn, Mandy Murphy and Courtney (Chad) Golden and his uncle, TJ House.



Visitation will be held from 6 - 8:00 pm on Friday, May 19th at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., NLR. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 20th with interment immediately following at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Online guest book at www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
